Liberty & Lead Kicks Off COS Summer Events 2025
| Nunn, Colorado. Have you heard of it? It's a Weld County town, population 504. Well, our COS volunteers increased Nunn's population on Saturday, May 17th at Great Guns Sporting when they held the Liberty & Lead Sport Clay Fun Shoot, a one day event. COS Veterans Coalition managed the occasion. Veterans Art Sickler and Lynn Ray headed the event and were joined by Wayne Walvoord, Daryl Rice and Todd Reed to complete the team. This dedicated crew talked to event attendees and 38 COS petitions were the result. These petitions go to their State Legislators and hopefully we will find some more willing and determined volunteers out of this group of 38 and some might contribute their time like our COS event team did at the Sport Clay Fun Shoot.
