Kansas Veterans - We Took An Oath
| I, (NAME), do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Your oath was to the country, the citizens of the United States. It is up to us, the veterans, to take the fight and stand up once again! IT IS TIME TO SERVE ONCE AGAIN IN OUR FIGHT TO TAKE BACK OUR NATION FROM THOSE POLITICIANS WHO IGNORE OUR CONSTITUTION AND THE OATH THEY TOOK TO SUPPORT AND DEFEND IT. More than 300,000 veterans have joined Convention of States. Are you a veteran frustrated with our politicians and problems with our government? WHO WE ARE: The Convention of States Veterans Coalition - we represent all branches of our military service in every conflict we proudly participated in, from WWII to the present war on terrorism and now, the domestic takeover by socialism and out-of-control politicians. We are those members - along with our families, brothers, and sisters of all walks of life - who continue the fight for our freedom and to hold our out-of-control government accountable through Article V of the U.S. Constitution. When the need arises, we participate in state legislation to defend freedom and liberty. Kansas Veterans are mobilizing to join the battle for the hearts and minds of our fellow Kansans. While there are those who attempt to stop any attempt to preserve our nation of laws and good will, they are not our enemy. Our enemy is the idea that all is lost and we can do nothing to stop the slide into authoritarian rule without law. We are called to present the Convention of States plan to more Kansans and ensure that our state will be in the roll call of ratifying states when good amendments are proposed to restore government by the people and protect it for generations to come. Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.” Take action now!
