We invite all freedom-loving patriots to join our exciting event: CITIZENS’ ACTION DAY  Monday June 24, 2024  10:00 AM- 2:00 PM  State Capital Annex in Trenton This event is hosted by Convention of States Action (COSA) New Jersey. We will hear from some of our NJ Legislators, NJ State Directors and from our guest speaker, COSA Senior Advisor Rick Santorum. See directions, map and parking instructions included below.   This is the perfect time to meet other COS Action New Jersey leaders, volunteers and supporters as we engage with our lawmakers in 2024. NJ legislators have been invited to visit with our group. COSA NJ Citizens’ Action Day 2024 Schedule    10 AM Opening Citizens’ Action Day 2024 - Chris Garzino and Jim Collinsworth, State Director Team. 10:10 AM NJ Assembly and Senate Members Address our volunteers. 11:00 AM COSA Senior Advisor Rick Santorum, keynote guest speaker 11:45 AM Final Remarks. Take a Group Picture of our COS Action NJ Team. 12:00 PM Rejoice over our rally, fellowship together, and share afternoon plans. We are bringing water and individually-wrapped snacks. Lunch is on your own. Picnicking on the grounds is permitted. 1 PM A Guided Tour of the NJ State House (free of charge) has been reserved for our group. Please RSVP to Robyn Hoy at Robyn.Hoy@cosaction.com to sign up. Tour attendees please gather at the lobby of the State House Annex at 12:50 PM. NJ State House security is maintained by the New Jersey State Police. All adult visitors are required to go through magnetometers and show a valid photo ID to enter the complex.    1 PM Many of our COS NJ Volunteers are making arrangements to visit with their NJ legislators to promote and advocate passage of the COS resolutions. Please inquire of your COS volunteers to know of their arrangements so you can join them. 2 PM NJ Senate has a full legislative session that anyone can attend in the upstairs balcony viewing area. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. COSA NJ has a request placed for a group of seats together.

COSA NJ Citizens’ Action Day 2024 is a rain or shine event. Please bring umbrellas if necessary.

PARKING is available in the capitol parking garage on weekdays. The garage entrance on West State Street is located between the New Jersey State Library (185 W State Street) and the New Jersey State House Annex (145 W State Street). The garage can also be accessed from the rear entrance to the Capitol Complex, off Route 29 (see map on the flyer). Proceed to the guard booth and have a picture ID ready to gain access to the garage. Metered, on-street parking is available along West State Street. Several pay lots are located within walking distance. Parking for wheelchair users is available on West State Street and in the garage.

Many supporters have asked how they can prepare for the event. Just joining us to show your support of COSA is enough. Family members and friends are welcome.
