Join Ohio citizens Lobbying to Invoke Article V
| ====== Join Ohio citizens lobbying to invoke Article V to push back against an overreaching Federal government! ====== Join an ever-growing, fully engaged army of grassroots activists! There is no better time to invoke the second clause of Article V of the U.S. Constitution, allowing the states to push back against our overreaching Federal government by calling a state amending convention. To do this, Ohio must pass the Convention of States resolution so our state can join the 19 other states calling for an Article V convention. Once 34 states are onboard, we can propose amendments for: * Imposing fiscal restraints on the Federal Government, * Limiting the power and jurisdiction of the Federal government, and * Setting term limits for Congress and Federal officials. Ohio's Convention of States resolution HJR-3 as introduced in the Ohio House of Representatives in 2023: HERE. ====== How can you help? (And, yes, we need it!) ====== If you are new to Convention of States, outstanding! Thank you for considering working with us to save our country. We want to make it easy to get engaged. Signatures collected on our web page (**www.conventionofstates.com**) aggregate with over 100,000 other signers in Ohio who believe in promoting the power of the states. Your signature also automatically generates an email message to your state Representative and Senator in Columbus indicating your support of invoking Article V. * Tell your friends and neighbors about the Convention of States effort and why they should also support our resolution.
