It's Testimony Time... Volunteers Needed !
COSA MA is preparing to present testimony to the Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs in support of H3888, a call for an Article V convention of states. Timing is uncertain. What is certain is that we need more voices to fully present the compelling testimony. We have succeeded two times in the past. Help make it three in a row!
| For the past two months, a dedicated team of COSA volunteers has been rehearsing testimony for the Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs in support of House Bill 3888. Twice before, this committee has endorsed the bill. Now, we’re preparing for a third—and hopefully successful—push to bring it to the floor. Massachusetts could be the next step toward the 34 states needed for an Article V Convention. COSA has already succeeded 19 times nationwide. With your help, the Commonwealth could be number 20. The hearing date is still unknown and notice can be as short as 72 hours—making preparation essential. Testimony is divided into 20 three-minute sections, so we need at least 20 speakers, plus backups. Right now, 13 volunteers are committed. We need more. Your role is simple but powerful: introduce yourself, read your section, thank the committee, and you’re done. Past volunteers describe it as a deeply rewarding experience—and a chance to make history. Anyone can testify, but the most compelling voices come from those with COSA in their hearts.
