Mike Braun knows which direction to take at the crossroads.
| It's been said so often recently that it's almost conventional wisdom: America is at a crossroads. Well, the governor of the state whose motto is The Crossroads of America has made a bold statement about the direction that our country should take: Mike Braun has officially endorsed Convention of States. “We need a balanced budget amendment and term limits to fix the broken system in D.C.,” said Governor Braun, “and an Article V convention of states is the constitutional solution when Congress ignores the will of the people; as Senator I was the loudest voice for a Convention of States and as governor I fully endorse what Convention of States Action is doing to get us there.“ “Governors are the tip of the spear in the fight against federal government overreach,” said Convention of States Action president and co-founder Mark Meckler, “and we are proud to have Gov. Braun’s endorsement. Governor Braun has been a true and loyal supporter of Convention of States for quite some time not only in Indianapolis, but in Washington, D.C., when he represented Hoosiers in the United States Senate. During a floor speech in 2022, he decried the fiscal dysfunction in Congress and delivered bold remarks about the necessity of an Article V convention.
