How to add petition signers from paper petitions.
 Make sure you are logged into https://conventionofstates.com/ to get credit Then: 1 Go to https://conventionofstates.com/event_petitions 2 Enter First Name, Last Name, Email and Mobile Phone 3 If they opted out, uncheck “Send me email updates” 4 If they opted out, uncheck “Send me text message updates” 5 Enter Street Address 6 If they said they were a veteran, check “I am a U.S. Veteran” 7 If they said they would volunteer, check “Yes, I would like to volunteer for COS!” 8 Skip “How did you hear about us:” box 9 Enter “Block Walk Petitions” in the Event Name 10 Enter “State Abbreviation + HD# + Date with Month Spelled out” in “Event Description” Example: OH15July1721 11 Click the big red box that says “SEND TO MY STATE LEGISLATORS” Once you do steps 9 and 10 (Tags) with the first petition you enter, you will not need to do it again with the rest of the petitions from that Block Walk event unless you close the page. |
