Here We Grow Again in NJ South
More events equal more opportunities to spread the word about Convention of States.
| The New Jersey Convention of States South Region has added two more events to its yearly list thanks to the diligent work of Mike Rutcosky, District 3 Captain. More events equal more opportunities to spread the word about Convention of States, and get more petitions signed in New Jersey. 100406_original.heic  The first event was on July 19 at Cedarvale Winery in Logan Township. This family owned and operated winery celebrates Christmas in July every year, at which Mike and his lovely wife Stephanie serve as Santa and Mrs. Claus – a perfect way to get visitors to stop at our COS table during the event. Really, who can resist Santa and the Mrs.? We collected 11 petitions that day and had a great time at the event.     During the week of August 4-8, the South Region had a table at the Salem County Fair. Multi-day events involve a lot of planning, logistics, etc. Mike did a great job rallying the team to help, which resulted in more volunteer interest in the South Region. County fairs are naturally high-energy, family-oriented affairs with farm animals, tractor pulls and great food, to name a few. The team worked hard and collected 100+ signed petitions. We can’t wait until next year’s fair! If the above sounds interesting to you, please join us by signing the petition below.
