| The August edition of Grassroots Leadership Focus was red hot! In case you missed it, all you have to do is click below to watch how you can “Turn the Heat into Motion” as we drive toward an Article V convention: Among the highlights: * COS Chief Grassroots Officer Mike Ruthenberg is at the Iowa State Fair, and he discussed the success of the petition drive there, including a one-day record of 401 petition signers * Reports from our Regional Directors touting more petition signers, letter-writing campaigns, acknowledging the perseverance of the grassroots, and announcing a new State Director in Indiana * Staff counsel William Kelly gave an overview of the legal parameters and nuances concerning posting on social media As unlikely as it may seem given all of this heat, autumn is drawing near, and September's theme for the Grassroots Leadership Focus call will be – appropriately enough – “Fall into Freedom”.
