Grassroots Game Plan: Florida team holds multiple events
Special thanks to the grassroots efforts of these tireless patriots.
| The Convention of States Florida team was super-busy holding events the last week of March 2019, attending to multiple events around the state. Upcoming events include our State Strategy Meeting in June, to be held at Valencia College in Orlando. Stay tuned for more ways to join the fun in the sun in Florida.  Bonnie Corbett, the State Events Coordinator has been helping and organizing various table events. She makes sure everyone has what they need, including flyers, petitions, banners, tables, and volunteers. Special thanks to the grassroots efforts of these patriots, who consistently have ideas for events, plan and attend them and who tirelessly help to meet, speak to, and recruit new patriots. Their efforts have been tremendous in obtaining new supporters, distributing info to inquiring minds, and building camaraderie among the team. Larry Jewett: Followup Team Leader and COS Table Pro Rich Simo: Region Captain Tom Miller, Rob Brown and Brenda MacMenamin: District Captains Keith Bessette: Videographer, Content Writer and Social Media Warrior  March 29, 30 and 31: COS Table at Treasure Coast Festival in Ft Pierce. Special Thanks to TommyGuns Tactical Training for donating space and allowing for presentations prior to each Concealed Carry class held. March 24: Tom Millers District Team Meet-up HD89. Click here to watch. March 27: Team Up at the Capital: Tallahassee. Brenda Karlin and Team delivered Newsletters to all Senators and House Representatives. Larry Jewett and Rich Simo drove up to man the table and spoke to the many folks attending the Senior Day at the capitol.  March 27: Region Team Meetup: Port St Lucie. Keith Bessette captured a great example of a Region Meeting. Click here to watch. March 31: District Captain Rob Brown recruited 58 petition signers within four hours!  You never know who might attend an event and one of the events brought out the infamous Roger Stone. He was kind enough to grab a photo with our celebrity, Bonnie Corbett.  |
