Florida needs an "Event Coordinator" in your district!
| ===== What does a Convention of States Action (COSA) Event Coordinator (EC) Do? ===== - If needed, assist your District Captain (DC) with any forms needed to order booth setup. {Some DCs are already setup.} - Search for upcoming events in your district where COSA Information Booths can be hosted: Gun shows, RV/Boat shows, Festivals/Fairs, Flea Markets, Etc. Be creative! Think outside the box. - Work directly with your DC to choose events and layout a realistic calendar based on volunteer availability. - Contact the venues and complete their required vendor documents. - Work with National to provide any evidence of non-profit, insurance, etc which may/may not be required. - Forward any venue payment request, along with the appropriate COSA paperwork, and request for any materials to our National Team for approval and payment. - Work with your DC and local team to be sure a booth “staff” is assembled in advance of the event. - Forward all event approvals and followup details to your DC (be sure to maintain constant communication with your DC to be sure s/he is always informed of the status). - After the event, fill out the post-event documentation, with the assistance of the team, and return it to the National Team. The MOST important part of the job is COMMUNICATION. The perfect candidate is: - Ultra responsive (respond quickly to DC, National, and State leaders) - Highly accountable (communicate your own status/down times/event details clearly — own the process) - Organized (cross all the Ts and dot all the Is—represent COSA well) - Passionate about saving the USA from marxists and excited to help Previous Event Coordination/Planning is not necessary, at all.
