First of Many: State Strategy 2021
Our team is growing and looking forward to all that we can accomplish together.
| On February 20-21 the Convention of States Georgia team held its first state strategy meeting with many of our new volunteers. It was exciting to meet so many new faces and reconnect with others! Before we got down to the business of Georgia strategy, we took the time to tour the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins, Georgia. It served as the perfect motivation builder for our team, as we began discussing patriotism and how to interact with and expand our grassroots movement. Here are a few photos from our time together!  We headed to Robins Air Force Base to get inspired by patriots from our past. Here pictured are a few of the fine patriots joining us. We have a good-looking group!  Our own Tony Moore was so inspired by all the patriotism that he attempted to scale the guardrail and fly this plane. He was very sad that he could not take it home with him.  State Grassroots Coordinator Jo'El Lapp got down to business at the start of our event. As you can see from the nifty “Notepad of Victory,” we are strategizing!  We also welcomed Dr. Kandiss Taylor, a candidate for Governor of Georgia. Dr. Taylor offered the team a few words of support for the growing grassroots movement in the state.  Regional Director Jonathan Viaud rallies the troops, because that is what he does. You will remember him, and you will leave inspired! Get ready to take over Georgia, COS! Georgia has been needing an awesome group of volunteers such as this to kick start a new wave. We are excited that our team is growing and looking forward to all that we can accomplish together. Stay on the lookout for more content from this great event that will serve as a springboard for our upcoming goals.
