First Fall River Area Meeting
The 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. meeting time looks promising as it opens a different option for busy people.
 We love hosting local meetings at Convention of States Massachusetts. How appropriate that our first Fall River Area meeting was held on Valentine's Day.The South Coast has been breaking out lately. Supporters from the surrounding communities came out on this Tuesday evening to learn and talk about the COS movement, representing Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, and Westport. Regional District Captain Dave Wilder assisted organizer Mark St Amour with his knowledge of our resolution, HD 206. Attendees were surprised to hear how much has actually been accomplished; they appeared truly inspired. Dave also introduced everyone to Fifteen Minute Patriot, a program he conceived to help people ease their way into volunteerism. Three in attendance pledged their support, and we gained a petition signer as well. The 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. meeting time looks promising as it opens a different option for busy people. That was evident from the fresh faces that were present. We will be gathering again on the second Tuesday of the month at the same time. We’d love to see you!  |
