Federal Government Discovers Children Actually Love Their Dogs!

The NIH fritters away $187,500 of our tax money.

The federal government wasted thousands of taxpayer dollars on a study that was conducted to determine how much ‘children love their dogs.’

The study in question was carried out by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and cost taxpayers around $187,500. It aimed to measure the relationship between children and their pets, specifically dogs, and determine how their bond affects the children's physical activity, behavior, and weight.

The results of this study are hardly surprising or groundbreaking. It is widely known that pets positively affect children's development and well-being, and numerous past studies have already established this fact. Therefore, the justification for such a costly study is questionable.

The study could have been carried out without spending a single penny just by visiting a pet park and asking children about their relationship with their pets.
