As summer heat cooled to crisp Autumn days, the Convention of States Virginia team kept growing the grassroots.

COS Breakfast Chats

Supporters from across Northern Virginia attended a Breakfast Chat hosted by NoVA North District Captain Dave Williams.

November 23: Northern Virginians who heard about the NoVA North COS Breakfast Chats from COS Virginia Facebook followers in other parts of Virginia and America came to have their questions about Convention of States answered. October 19: COS Breakfast Chats in Newport News motivated two attendees to help at regional events and meet local legislators. They are now District Captains growing their own teams. Become a District Captain at this link.

October 26: You never know who might show up to a COS Virginia Breakfast Chat. Delegates and radio personalities have been known to show up to talk Article V Convention of States. Joe Thomas of WCHV-AM Charlottesville attended the local October breakfast chat, reported Grassroots Coordinator Nancy Koenig.

Chesterfest

September 28: Regional Captain Matt Weeks organized a Convention of States table at Chesterfest. After talking to numerous liberty interested citizens, he and his team collected 60 petitions.

Ashland Townhall

October 23: District Captain Steven Hyland conducted a town hall in Ashland, which resulted in several new petition signers.

Charlottesville Coffee Chat

November 17: District Captain Jane Miller hosted a Coffee Chat in her neighborhood, which resulted in more petitions being signed.

December 12: Grassroots Coordinator Nancy Koenig and her District Captain team wore COS pins to Delegate Hudson's town hall, which attracted quite a bit of attention.

Gun Shows

October 20: District Captain Karen Greenhalgh had a special banner made for her COS information table at the Virginia Beach Gun Show. Karen and her husband Ty collected over 100 petitions. 

Leadership Summit

November 9: COS Virginia state leaders arrived in Chester for the biannual Leadership Summit. Highlighting the event was State Director Dennis Denton awarding Patriot Pins to six worthy COS volunteers.
