Some of us are old enough to remember when there were newspaper boys and girls on the street corners of the bigger cities, hawking the latest edition of their cities’ tabloids! Spin forward a few decades and some of these tabloids have gone out of business or moved with the times to an on-line internet publication.

Well, Convention of States (COS) recently announced the winners of Phase One of the Letters to The Editor contest and publicized Phase Two. Phase One focused on crafting letters to introduce ARTICLE V to new audiences.

These letters are available to State Content Writers to spread their impactful words nationwide. Using the letters of the Phase One winners as templates and tailoring them to Louisiana, we can easily tackle topics that resonate with the readers in The Pelican State.

To make it easier for our talented COS State Content Writers, we compiled a list of newspapers and their URLs, so the writers in each area of the state can submit a letter to their local paper(s). If you want to join in sending these letters, let me know and I can send you copies of the templates as well as places to submit them.
