Don't delay, make your video clip today!

Can you spare one minute to help move NH Resolution forward?

We have a wonderful opportunity in New Hampshire to share our support for Convention of States.

We can each take our cell phones, turn them horizontally, then hit record! Telegram your video clip in a Direct Message to Carol P or send an email  for texting directions.

1. Hold your cell phone horizontally.

2. Open your camera app.

3. Select “video.”

4. Hit “record.”

You can say as little or as much as you like, as long as it is shorter than 60 seconds. Most people usually speak about 15 seconds.

This is what you want to record:

Hi, My name is _____________.  I live in (town) in NH.
I support Convention of States because _____________

OR….

Convention of States gives me hope because _____________.

One or two examples are fine, however, if you want to speak on more, you are welcome.

If you want to share more, here are some talking points:

Convention of States is the ONLY non-violent solution strong enough to rein in the federal government.

Convention of States is non-partisan.

Convention of States is American.

Convention of States is NOT a constitutional convention, where all 50 states draft a new constitution and is unlimited.

Convention of States IS using Article V to propose amendments to THIS Constitution with limitations – only the 3 topics in the Resolutions of 34 passed states will be discussed.

The Convention of States Resolution specifies these 3 topics for its amendment proposing convention:

1. Impose fiscal restraints on the federal government.
2. Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.
3. Term limits on Congress and the federal officials.

More examples:

content.conventionofstates.com_cosaction-prod_public_content_images_56519_56519_original.jpegI support fiscal restraints because:

I don't want my grandkids to have to pay back this $30 trillion debt.

Every American has to balance its checkbook, I want the federal government to do the same.

I don't think Congress should have an unlimited shopping spree with my tax money.

I support limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government because:

The Constitution was designed to have the states retain the most control. I want my NH representatives writing laws influencing my life, not Washington, DC.

I want the original intent of the Constitution to be upheld.  This could be accomplished with an Amendment to Article III, with language meaning that the Courts MUST adjudicate from the original intent of both the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence, NOT the most recent court case.

I want to restore power and authority to NH. This could be accomplished with an Amendment to Article II. For example, the Department of Education should have never been formed in Washington, but rather reserved to the states.

I want an amendment to state that Congress may only write laws that have one subject matter per law. I do not want to set-up Congressmen for failure. These 3000 page bills with many topics makes my Representative fail in serving me.

I want the “commerce” clause restored to its original intent.

content.conventionofstates.com_cosaction-prod_public_content_images_56522_56522_original.jpegI support term limits on Congress and federal officials because:

I don't want career politicians to live off my tax money for decades.

The longer politicians in Washington stay in office, the less they listen to “We the People” in NH.

I want to stop the misconception that Supreme Court justices are not in office “for life” but rather for “good behavior.”

More ideas for talking points can be found by reading “The Liberty Amendments” by Mark R. Levin.

Speaking from your heart is MOST impactful; the simpler the better.

When? Today!

The 60 second video clip takes just that, 60 seconds – or less!  Don't delay.  Make your video clip today. Make today count in helping NH pass its Resolution.

Can you spare one minute to help move NH's Resolution forward?

These video clips WILL make a HUGE difference in getting our Resolution passed in NH. Thank you for taking action. Together, the Convention of States Application will be passed in NH!

Feel free to email me with any questions.
