Deliberate loss of Safety & Sovereignty?

The fentanyl crisis alone has claimed over 300,000 American lives between 2020 and 2024.
At the southern border, more than 450,000 unaccompanied children were encountered by U.S. Customs and Border
When Washington fails, the states must act. The Constitution affirms state authority to protect their citizens.

Restoring Accountability and Protecting Our Republic:

Our nation has awakened to the painful truth that we fell asleep for too long. During those years, ruthless cartels penetrated and expanded their criminal enterprises, flourishing at our expense. Despite the dedication of many in law enforcement, few effective countermeasures were mounted to stop this catastrophe.

Throughout the Biden Administration—whether through neglect or intent—the federal government’s chronic failure to secure our borders and properly process immigration allowed these murderous cartels to entrench themselves. They are now deeply rooted and difficult to uproot.

The Human Toll:
The fentanyl crisis alone has claimed over 300,000 American lives between 2020 and 2024.

Protection from FY2020 to FY2023—tragic proof of our failure to protect the innocent from human traffickers.

Federal Failure:
The Department of Homeland Security under Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas oversaw these lax, open-border policies and repeatedly misled the public. Accountability is overdue—there are questions to answer, money to trace, and laws to enforce.

Meanwhile, Congress remains gridlocked and unpopular, with fewer than 30% of Americans expressing confidence in its performance.

The Path Forward:

When Washington fails, the states must act. The Constitution affirms state authority to protect their citizens. Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star, launched in 2021, sought to defend the border where the federal government would not. Three years later, the Fifth Circuit vindicated Texas, ruling the state had the right to secure its borders.

A Constitutional Solution that cries out for us to utilize it:

The Framers foresaw chaotic times like these and gave us Article V—a way for the states to unite and correct the course when the federal government refuses to act.
A Convention of States can restore accountability through amendments addressing:

Term limits for Congress and unelected bureaucrats

Fiscal responsibility

Reducing the size and scope of the federal government
