COS Virginia at Midlothian Gun Show this Weekend

COS Virginia seeking volunteers to help educate the public about an Article V Convention of States.

Every gun show attendee knows the Second Amendment protects his or her right to “keep and bear” firearms. Many are not aware, however, how Article V of the Constitution can help defend that right from those eager to use every atrocity by a deranged murderer to justify more “gun control.”

For that reason, Convention of States Virginia will be present at a Gun Show this weekend in Midlothian, May 19-20, at the old KMart. (Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 10-5) Click here for directions.

We will distribute information, answer questions, and collect petitions in order to convene a Convention of States for the purpose of restraining the federal leviathan by proposing amendments in three areas:

* term limits for federal officials-for Congress, Supreme Court Justices, and federal judges,
* ending federal overreach-including job-crushing regulations by unaccountable bureaucrats,
* and fiscal restraints-to address runaway spending, debt and your tax burden.
