A RALLY TO DEMAND ACTION We need to fix our Southern border!!! On April 29, COS leaders and devoted patriots assembled at the Texas Capitol in Austin to demand that our elected leaders take action to end the humanitarian crisis at our southern border. Our elected leaders have failed to secure the border and repel the invasion. We will no longer accept the erosion of America or its values by allowing the humanitarian crisis at our southern border to continue. We must act NOW to repel this unprecedented invasion. Our nation’s leaders have failed to act, so now it’s up to us — the American people — to demand action. Convention of States Action has the largest organization of liberty-loving grassroots activists in the United States. Although our primary objective is to pass the COS Resolution and call an Article V Convention, we simply cannot sit by and watch as mass genocide sweeps across our southern border.  Page 2 of 7 Imagine the impact of Texas passing this ground- breaking legislation - a Texas Border Defense Unit to defend US citizens. Think about if our southern states step up and do what the federal government has failed to — secure the border against an invasion of dangerous cartels… Not on our watch. Not in our America. The road to victory won’t be easy. But this is a battle we MUST fight with everything we’ve got. If not, can we truly call ourse lves “the land of the free and home of the brave?” If you were not able to be there in person with Ted Nugent, Congressman Chip Roy, Lara Logan, CJ Pearson, Mark Meckler, and thousands of patriots to demand action that will stop the wave of death and destruction… Please click the link below to see the whole event. Good Weather. Thousands of patriotic Texans gathered at their seat of government in Austin to demand control of the southern border. Too bad they had to be there at all. Too bad Texas has to try and repel the invasion of their state because the national government will not. God Bless Texas for being willing to try. I was excited when I heard that COS was one of many sponsors for this event and immediately registered to attend. I so wanted to stand with my brothers and sisters in defense of their state and our country. It was going to be great to stand with hand over heart as Uncle Ted (Nugent) played a spirited rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner on his well-worn Gibson Byrdland. To hear him demand that we “Remember the Damned Alamo”!! To go forward and “raise maximum hell” with our representatives until they begin doing what we hired them to do.  Page 3 of 7 To listen to the many other speakers, outline the atrocities being committed by the drug cartels against innocent human beings on both sides of the border. To hear Mark Meckler implore us all to pledge our Lives, Fortunes and Sacred Honor not to our Country, The Flag, George Washington, or even to God but to EACH OTHER! To never quit fighting for Liberty “until the first shovel of dirt hits the damned pine box”!!! I wept openly. Yes, it would have great to be there. But I WASN’T. Time, distance, money, other commitments and a million other things (excuses) got in the way. Plain and simple I did not answer the call. I should have actually been there. We all need to “be there” in the defense of God and Country. Rather they seek to enslave us all under a socialistic banner. It is now left to “We The People” to defend this great experiment in self-governance. To take our power back. It is why we need a Convention of States to make that happen. If you are not presently involved in the movement please consider joining us in the defense of freedom. It is not good enough to just walk around bitching and moaning. Action is all that matters. It really is now or never. We have 4 dogs, rabbits, chickens and if I had my way, we would have a goat and cows. What brought you to COS (Your Why): I am a seeker of truth in politics and religion. I found that Convention of States was the only solution to getting balance back from our federal government. States and the Executive powers need to work together for Americans freedoms not against each other. I believe the constitution is the key to our freedom. I am grateful our founding fathers included Article V in the constitution. They were wise men who knew that one day the federal government would be too large and very greedy for power and money. We live in those days today. I want to be part of the solution for our future generations. I believe Article V and a Convention of States is the answer I have been looking for. Inspirational thought: Freedom is not free. It is earned and passed down to our future generations after much of their sacrifice including many deaths by our forefathers. We have a duty and obligation to provide freedom and prosperity to our future generations. We need to be part of the solution. We need to get involved in grass root efforts and fight for our constitutional and God given rights. We can do this together. Let’s all get involved in creating a better future for all of us.
