COS National Update:

The Big Government leftists already have a
virtual monopoly on the levers of power in
Washington.  Those who sit on the sidelines
and do nothing give approval to their continued
destruction of our freedom.

V Convention to save America …

… or you stand with Hillary Clinton, George
Soros, the Deep State, and the radical Left to
perpetuate our nation’s disastrous slide into
Big Government tyranny.

here simply is no middle ground, and I’m fed

up with people who claim to love the

Constitution but who refuse to use the
Constitution to

SAVE

the Constitution.

And don’t be fooled — not choosing

is

to make

a choice.

As a lover of our country and a fellow fighter for
freedom, I know you’d never side with our
opponents.

Instead, I’m counting on you to choose
liberty.

Thanks to the faithful and generous partnership
of America-loving patriots like you, we have
secured passage of the Article V Resolution in

19

of the constitutionally required 34 states,

and we have several more on the cusp of
passage in the coming months.

But to continue moving forward, we urgently
need to increase our strength on the ground

because

we’re facing hostile and growing opposition
from incumbent politicians, the
bureaucratic “Deep State,” and the full
force of the anti-American Left.

In state after state, our grassroots activists are
encountering left-wing protestors, smears and
lies online, and even paid lobbyists funded by
George Soros-affiliated groups.

Meanwhile, in the fake media and on platforms
like Facebook and Twitter, we’re enduring
blistering opposition from some of America’s
most notorious left-wing voices, including

George Soros

Hillary Clinton

, former

Attorney General

Eric Holder

, and

over 250

left-wing organizations

including:

Planned Parenthood

- The

Sierra Club

;

America’s largest labor unions, including the

AFL-CIO

SEIU

- AFSCME

, and multiple teachers’ unions;

Common Cause

;

- … and many, many more.

Our success in calling an Article V Convention
will spell the

END

of Big Government in

America and solidify constitutional protections
for our freedom once and for all!

But we're not there yet – and the closer we get
to the target, the more flak we’re going to take.

Utah Update:

We believe that everyone receiving this email
has signed the COS petition and wants to hold
our federal government accountable to follow
and honor our divinely inspired Constitution,
and to have the elected representatives full fill
the oath of office they swore to serve “We the
People”.

We plan to hold a monthly COS South Salt
Lake County In-Person meeting:

Location:

  IHOP, 10815 South State Street,

Sandy, Utah.

Date:

  the 2nd Wednesday of each month

Time:

  5:30 to 6:30 pm - We want to be

respectful of your time and just keep it to an
hour, but if you would like to stay longer and
chat that would be great.

Everyone will be paying for their own
dinner/drinks.

This will be a group of likeminded people
meeting together to discuss our ideas on how
to progress this COS grass roots movement
here in Utah, utilizing COS volunteers and
Article V of our divinely inspired constitution.

Hope to see you there for some lively
conversations about freedom and the love we
have for our beloved country and our divinely
inspired constitution.

Utah Last Month:

Last month I sent an email to my State
Legislator to introduce myself and get his
feelings regarding Convention of States.  I also
sent him a copy of our COS May 2023
newsletter.

Maybe you could do the same to your local
State Legislator?

  Here is an example of the

letter I sent out

– you are welcome to use it or

adjust it to your local House District or your
personality.

I would like to introduce myself - My name is
___(your name)____________ and I am in
your House District _(HD-#)____ here in
__(city)____, Utah.  I am an active member of
Convention of States (COS) here in your
House District _(HD-#)_____ and throughout
_(your county)_______ County.  I would like to
know your feelings about Convention of States
(COS).

We will be holding an In-person monthly
meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month to
help keep our likeminded supporters updated
on our most recent activities within COS.  We
would love to have you come to one of these
meetings and visit with some of your local
constituents.  Please let me know when you
would be available.

I am very proud of our beautiful state of Utah,
and for our State Representatives for passing
the resolution for Article V back in 2019.  We
here in COS feel that this grass roots
organization will help give “We the People” and
our local State Representatives the ability to
get Washington DC back under control

– Such

as a balanced federal budget, term limits for

federal elected officials and limit the overreach
of the federal government.

Each month for the past couple of years we
have created and emailed out a COS Utah
monthly newsletter to our nearly 8,000 + COS
Utah supporters.  Please see attached our
latest COS Utah newsletter.  We would love to
have an interview with you in one of our future
monthly newsletters to discuss your concerns
and hopes for your HD-_(HD-#)____.  Please
let me know when you would be available to do
an interview.

We at COS will continue to support and fight
for America’s freedoms and for our divinely
inspired Constitution.

our interests, so let them know who you are
and what you care about!  Take time to
introduce yourself and your organization to
public officials serving your community

including both federal and state
representatives.
Make an appointment and discuss:

1-   Their stance on Convention of States.
2-  What Bills they are working on that COS

could possibly get behind and support.

3-  Notify your District Captain, or Regional

Captain, or Legislative Liaison with the
results after contacting them.
