We had some lively conversations about freedom and the love we have for our country and constitution. Mary Wenner held her House District (HD)-44 meeting at: Village Inn , 11454 District Drive, South Jordan on June 15 th (the 2nd Thursday of each month) at 7:00 to 8:00 pm. She had a couple of new people join her meeting with good potential to volunteer and become leaders in COS. If you have scheduled your House District (HD) In-Person meetings and would like me to announce them in the COS monthly newsletter just let me know. Thank you _____________________________________ ![]() Page 3 of 7 Legislative Liaison: Be sure to contact your Legislators - Elected officials represent our community and our interests, so let them know who you are and what you care about! Take time to introduce yourself and your organization to public officials serving your community – including both federal and state representatives. Make an appointment and discuss: 1- Their stance on Convention of States. 2- What Bills they are working on that COS could possibly get behind and support. 3- Notify your District Captain, or Regional Captain, or Legislative Liaison with the results after contacting them. What brought you to COS (Your Why): I believe in the Convention of States because the Federal government has become far too powerful and wasteful.
