![]() Page 1 of 7 February 2025 Utah Pioneer Patriots Newsletter Let’s Go Team Utah!! ______________________________________________________________________ COS National Update: 2025 has just begun, and the Convention of States movement is already off to a strong start. Several top contenders for passing the COS Resolution this year have kicked off their legislative sessions, including Idaho, Montana, Ohio, and North Carolina. _____________________________________ COS National Last Month: Five more high priority states— Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming —will gavel in their sessions. Our teams in Nebraska and Montana just wrapped up holding massive rallies at their capitols in January . At these events, members of the grassroots flooded their state capitols and met with their state legislators, passing out informational brochures that were custom-designed for each individual legislator. ___________________________________ ![]() Page 2 of 7 Utah February 2025 Update: Please join us for our COS Utah Team Capitol Rally – Mark Meckler, COS President will be there to meet with Utah Legislators, Senators, and Utah grassroot supporters: Date: Wednesday, February 12, 2025 Time: 9:00 am to 11:00 am Location: Capitol Hill in the Beehive room (here is the link to the beehive room location) https:%%//%%utahstatecapitol.utah.gov/capitol-event-\\ spaces/beehive-room-2/ Would you like to meet with Mark Meckler, COS President ? We hope to see you all there. Why: To celebrate our constitutional freedoms and write personal thank you notes to our Utah Legislators and Senators for supporting COS. Tentative Schedule: 9:00 am – Welcome grassroot supporters. 9:15 am – Capitol tour 10:00 – Back to Beehive room and write notes. 10:15 – Mark Meckler meet and visit with grassroot supporters. 11:00 – Leave Beehive room to meet with your representatives or visit chambers. 12:00 – Leave Capitol 12:30 - Lunch: We will be gathering for lunch after the rally at the SLC Chuck-A-Rama 744 East 400 South SLC Utah 84012 Salt Lake City Chuck a Rama - Search If you haven’t already signed the COS petition, we will have some available at the rally. This will be a group of like-minded people meeting together to discuss our ideas on how to progress the COS grassroots movement here in Utah, utilizing COS volunteers and Article V of our divinely inspired constitution. We put our COS business cards and pictures in the cards and got them all mailed out. We were also preparing for our Capital Rally coming up on February 12, 2025. Act like it!!! Elected officials represent our community and our interests, so let them know who you are and what you care about! Make an appointment and discuss: 1- Their stance on Convention of States. 2- What Bills they are working on that COS could possibly get behind and support. 3- Notify your District Captain, or Regional Captain, or Legislative Liaison with the results after contacting them.
