COS team makes the case with 2A community
COS volunteers participated in the End of Session Rally sponsored by the 2A community.
| June 30 was the final day of the legislative session, and COS volunteers participated in the End of Session Rally sponsored by constitutional groups such as the Delaware Gun Rights, Women’s Defense Coalition, and Delaware State Sportsmen’s Association (DSSA). Robin Coventry, Susan Foy, and Sharon Correll manned a table and collected signatures from attendees who understand that our Constitution is threatened by an overreaching federal government. Although the attendance was quite a bit lower than at previous similar events, the COS team collected over 50 petitions. Sharon also had the opportunity to give a short speech introducing the crowd to the COS effort. Another speaker at the event was Delaware Senator David Lawson, a long-time supporter of COS and a participant in the Convention of States Simulation in Williamsburg, VA.
