COS success at Virginia Beach Gun Show

Over 100 petitions were signed, with many supporters willing to become active volunteers.

Karen and Ty Greenhalgh of Virginia Beach–the Convention of States Virginia husband-wife volunteer team–experienced blockbuster success at the local SKG Gun Show back in October 2019.

COS Volunteer Ty Greenhalgh explains Convention of States.

While explaining the concept of a Convention of States, Karen and Ty presented copies of both 2019 resolutions that were filed in the Virginia General Assembly earlier in the year.

They also highlighted the important goals of the COS resolutions, which proved to be very effective and persuasive.

COS District Captain Karen Greenhalgh discusses Convention of States.

According to Karen, the biggest conversation starter was her new banner, which listed all of the states that have currently passed the COS resolution.

Also noticeable was the geographic diversity. Some people who stopped by the booth were from states like North Carolina, Wisconsin, Florida, and Texas.

Over 100 petitions were signed, with many supporters willing to become active volunteers.
