The Hawai'i Senate Committee on Public Safety, Intergovernmental & Military Affairs is scheduled to take up SCR 196, the resolution to activate Article V of the Constitution today at 9:00 p.m. ET. 

SCR 196 is one of several pieces of legislation scheduled for consideration. The committee is chaired by Sen. Glenn Wakai (D), who introduced SCR 196. He is also Senate majority floor leader. 

The Hawai'i COS team has been rehearsing their testimony and are fully prepared to eloquently and persuasively advance the argument for Article V.
