To the dedicated supporters and prospects in House Districts 26 & 28: here’s your latest grassroots briefing from our Clayton Meet-Up on August 30th.

To the dedicated supporters and prospects in House Districts 26 & 28: here’s your latest grassroots briefing from our Clayton Meet-Up on August 30th. We packed an hour with milestones, strategy, and tools to help you influence HJR 379 and build momentum in North Carolina for calling a Convention of States. (Click the red text with links that follow to read more or take action.)

===== Milestone: 100,000 Petition Signers! =====

Thanks to your outreach on social media, door-knocking, and community events, we’ve officially surpassed 100,000 signatures across North Carolina. That’s a mighty army of citizens ready to reclaim our constitutional voice!

===== Your Voice on HJR 379 =====

Our resolution is poised for a Senate vote when legislators reconvene on September 22nd. If they stall again, we’ll shift tactics: endorsing candidates who back constitutional reform and amplifying pressure in Raleigh.

==== Next Steps: ====

* Engage your state Senators with personal letters or calls.
* Share this Carolina Journal article with them: “Convention of States: Towards Our Independence Day”
* Attend local candidate townhalls—make your voice heard in person. For example, in NC Senate District 26, one was held on Aug 16 for challenger Sheriff Sam Page, and another on Sept 15 for incumbent Senator Phil Berger. Sen. Berger is key to advancing the COS resolution in the Senate. Watch for future event announcements.
