🇺🇸 COS National Veterans Coalition 🇺🇸
We invite you to join the over 329,000 veterans from across the Nation, who have joined the Convention of States and are standing up for the Constitution.
We Took An Oath!![]() As veterans and patriots who treasure the blessings of liberty secured by those who came before us, we stand united with the Convention of States—an initiative that harnesses the constitutional authority of the states to restore limits on an overreaching federal government. Each of us took a sacred oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” and to “bear true faith and allegiance to the same.” That oath did not expire when we hung up our uniforms. Today, the gravest threat to our Constitution comes from a centralized federal government that routinely exceeds its enumerated powers, encroaches upon state sovereignty, infringes on individual liberty, jeopardizes our nation's fiscal future, and the future of our children and grandchildren. With the U.S. Supreme Court endorsing rather than restraining federal overreach and constitutional distortions, we embrace the remedy our Founding Fathers provided in Article V of the Constitution. Just as we once risked our lives defending this great nation, we now dedicate our time and energy to reassert the rights of self-governance and restore the federalist framework our Framers intended. We are called once again to stand for the principles we swore to uphold. Our new mission is clear: restore our republic and remind state leaders of their constitutional duty and the solemn oath they took to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. 329,000 veterans have answered this call and signed the petition. Will you join us? These Veterans Support COS! * <WRAP> ![]() “The leviathan of today's federal government continues to grow unabated, pushing the people further away from our Founders' vision of self-governance. The Convention of States Project is the only constitutional pathway for citizens to save our Republic by restoring it to her citizens. Article V of our Constitution underscores the duty of active citizenship and I am proud to stand with millions of volunteers in this effort.” Click here to read more Pete Hegseth Major, US Army Secretary of WarFormer CEO of Vets for Freedom and Concerned Veterans of America </WRAP> * <WRAP> ![]() “Thank goodness the founders had the wisdom to provide us with Article V of the Constitution, which gives us the right and power to hold and Amending Convention for the purpose of proposing amendments to restrain the scope and power of the federal government… Under the system of federalism, I support the efforts to gather a constitutional Convention of States consistent with Article V and honoring the 10th Amendment.” Click here to read more Allen West Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army (Ret.) Former U.S. Congressman, Texas </WRAP> * <WRAP> ![]() “For years, too many in our deeply-entrenched federal government have willfully ignored the citizens they represent, essentially dissolving the Founders’ originally-intended balance of power and the primary role played by the states as sovereign entities in our national structure. My fellow veterans and I know firsthand the critical importance of a command and authority structure, which is why Washington’s refusal to uphold the Constitution compels the individual states to exercise their collective power through Article V.” Click here to read more Brian Birdwell Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army (Ret.) Texas State Senator </WRAP> * <WRAP> ![]() “[O]ur nation is undergoing a period of great turmoil, and our federal government, Republicans and Democrats alike, has proven itself to be incapable of solving many of our national problems. The Washington, DC, political establishment has greatly overstepped its Constitutional boundaries in so many respects—it is truly time for the state governments to take action and return the federal government to its limited powers specified in our Constitution! I want to highlight to you that our nation is currently in a domestic war which we as veterans cannot afford to stand by and watch. We need to help win this war for the benefit of not only ourselves but also our posterity.” Click here to read more Paul Vallely Major General, U.S. Army (Ret.) Author, lecturer, and counter-terrorism expert </WRAP> * <WRAP> ![]() “The federal government today has grown completely out of control, far beyond the fence of limited government intended by our nation's founders. The enormity of the federal government and the imbalance of power between the states and the federal government present a threat to our national security. The founders gave us a lawful and orderly process in Article V for the states to exercise the most powerful check on runaway federal power. For this reason, I support the Convention of States Project efforts to call an Article V convention to propose amendments that will limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.” Click here to read more Bill Cowan Lt. Colonel, USMC (Ret.) Fox News Contributor </WRAP> * <WRAP> ![]() “As United States military veterans, each of us took a lifelong oath to ‘support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,’ and to ‘bear true faith and allegiance to the same.’ Today, the greatest threat to our Constitution is a highly-centralized federal government that regularly exceeds the limitations of its specifically enumerated constitutional powers, thereby invading the jurisdiction of the states, infringing upon the people’s liberty, and threatening our country with financial disaster. Washington, D.C. requires major, meaningful reforms. These reforms will only come from the outside, i.e., outside of Congress and the political establishment in Washington. This is why the Convention of States Project is essential to the survival of our constitutional republic.” Click here to read more Paul GardnerLTC, USAR (Ret.) </WRAP> News: * 🇺🇸 Happy Birthday U.S. Navy 🇺🇸 * 🏁 Veterans Answer the Call at COS Race to Freedom Summit 🏁 Checkpoints: * 10 Reasons Why Veterans Should Join, Support, and Advocate for an Article V Convention of the States * An Article V Convention of the States - An Overview * Convention of States Veterans Coalition Who We Are... * National Veterans Coalition Strategy (Requires CitizenBuilder Login) * Veterans for COS on COS Grassroots Webpage (Requires CitizenBuilder Login) * Veteran Blog Posts & Pages * Veteran Videos Rumble or YouTube * Veteran Service Organizations YOU SERVED TO DEFEND THE U.S. CONSTITUTION ONCE.
