COS Hawaii goes to Republican State Convention

Convention of States table was the “elephant” in the room at GOP Convention.

Brandishing all the latest COS literature and handouts, our intrepid volunteer team had a great time at the Hawaii State Republican Convention, May 5, collecting petition signatures and spreading the word about Convention of States.

Many thanks go to Jake Wilson, Matt Satterlee, Preston Iha, and Linda Sansone for giving up their Saturday to work our brilliant dispaly table.

This was the second time in three years that Convention of States sponsored a table at the annual Hawaii GOP event. The awareness and interest in COS was much more noticable with many people commenting about their support for our efforts. We gained 23 petition signatures and many new supporters.

In true non-partisan fashion, Convention of States Hawaii asked for but was denied a display table at the Democratic State convention in Waikoloa Hawaii on May 26.
