🚨 COS Hawai'i Stands Strong at Committee Hearing!
 COS Hawai'i testifiers watch COS President Mark Meckler's video testimony. On Thursday March 20th, a dozen+ of Team COS Hawai'i leaders and supporters testified in person, on SR-158 and SCR-140, in the Senate Energy and Inter-Governmental Affairs (EIG) committee chaired by COS Introducer Senator Glenn Wakai. Also testifying via zoom was COS President Mark Meckler. Despite their outstanding testimony the committee deferred our resolutions, killing both for this year. We still have a concurrent resolution in the House (HCR-34) which is waiting a committee hearing. “Though I was there, I was so impressed by our Convention of States Hawaii testifiers I had to watch the entire committee hearing again as soon as I got home!” said Mark White, Hawaii State Director. The team also stood strong and faced down opponent testimony. Testimony that was filled with fear mongering and gaslighting which is typical for our opponents. However, there was an added nastiness to some of the opponent testimony, violating Hawaii's “Spirit of Aloha,” insinuating we are liars, crooks, racist, and misogynist.
