COS Georgia releases details for Capitol Day 2018
If you have never been to our State Capitol, if you have never met your State Legislators, this is the time to do so.
| On January 10, 2018, the Convention of States Georgia team will visit our Georgia State Capitol. Please make your plans to join us! We will be there to meet our new legislators and to thank them all for serving our great state. We will also be there to thank those Legislators who helped to pass our Article V resolution and to reach out to those legislators who may still have some concerns. If you have never been to our state capitol, if you have never met your state legislators, this is the time to do so. Our capitol is beautiful. There is a historical museum on the upper floor of the capitol. There are many wonderful portraits, artifacts and other historical items. This would make a great educational field trip, whether on your own or with your entire family. If you are a school group or are home schooled, we would love to have you join us. Please go to our Facebook page to register and let us know you will be joining us. Make your plans to arrive by 11:30am. We will be in room 230 in the Capitol, under the Gold Dome. |
