COS Arizona Capitol Rose Garden Rally in Phoenix
Our Convention of States Arizona Team met last Wednesday for a COS Rally at the Capitol Rose Garden in Phoenix.
| Special thanks go out to District Captain Gary DeBerg, who arranged for our Convention of States Arizona team to meet for a COS rally at the Capitol Rose Garden in Phoenix on April 24, from 10:30am to 3:00pm. State Information Analyst Deborah McEwen reports that they had a good day. State Director Allen Wegele, all three Regional Captains, and several District Captains were in attendance. They were able to speak to a number of our state legislators, and they all were received well. Thanks to the efforts of our Legislative Liaison Steven McEwen, State Representatives Bob Thorpe (R-AZ6), Warren Petersen (R-AZ12), and Travis Grantham (R-AZ12) took time out in their busy schedules to meet with the team. It is always a pleasure to speak with our state legislators to get true bearing on the attitudes in our state government. We should all thank these gentlemen for supporting the Convention of States Project and for their service to our state. Below are photos from the event.  |
