Convention of States Louisiana Event in Lafayette
Come Join the Louisiana COS Team in Lafayette for an update on efforts here in Louisiana!
| The Convention of States Louisiana Team has been busy. We've been doing events across the state, including in Bossier, Mandeville, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. Now we'll be heading down to Lafayette! The event will be held at Abacus Banquet and Receptions in Lafayette on Tuesday, October 16th. It will be during lunch time from 11:30am to 1:30pm. You can sit down, eat lunch, learn about the Article V process, and get a civics education on government. The presentation by our State Director Bryce Barras will cover why we need a Convention of States, how the Article V process works, counter-arguments to some of the critics of a Convention of States, and recent updates on legislation just passed here in Louisiana.
