| California Convention of States Lobby Day - March 22nd  Yes, it's time once again to head to Sacramento to meet with those who represent us Californians. What is Lobby Day? The annual Convention of States Lobby Day provides supporters of the movement a chance to channel their inner activist. We will gather together to make our collective voices heard by our legislators, in hopes of moving the California effort forward. We will be visiting with legislators, delivering packets of information explaining more about why we look to use Article V of our constitution to get our government back on track. Let us know you will be attending Lobby Day Planning on being at the Capitol on March 22nd? Please let us know. Your RSVP will help us with planning and will ensure that we know who needs to be kept up-to-date as plans solidify… RSVP - Yes, I will be attending Lobby Day 2023 You too can make a difference All volunteers on deck! We are looking for people to put pen to paper to create memorable, personalized handwritten letters about Convention of States, letters that explain why you personally believe in holding a Convention of States. We will be informing our letter writers where to send their letters for inclusion in legislator packets. Yes, I want to help write letters Have fun Yes, there will be a good deal of important business taking place, but there will also be ample opportunity to have some fun. * Get to know your fellow California supporters. * Play a round or two of Cornhole on the Capitol grounds. * Stop over at the interview/photo booth to share a bit about what Convention of States means to you and why you support the effort. Getting to the Capitol Traveling northbound on I-5: Take the 519A exit for Q Street (.8 mi) Continue onto Q Street (.6 mi) Turn left onto 10th Street (.3 mi)  Where to park We suggest parking on the west side of the Capitol, along 10th and L streets. Agenda for the day • Check-in at the designated Pop Up Tent • Meet with your specific Group Leader • Hear a few Words from Region and State Directors • Accompany your group to deliver info to legislators • Take a selfie at our Selfie Frame to commemorate the day • Share with the COMMS team how your visit with legislators went • If you RSVP'd, have some fun with a game of Cornhole Questions?
