Another win!
| One week after the New Hampshire grassroots team and former Senator Rick Santorum testified in favor of the Convention of States application, HCR 3, the House State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs committee voted 10-7 to pass the bill. “There are a lot of folks I hear saying that an Article V convention is unconstitutional,” said chairman Rep. Michael Moffett. “So, as a civics person, I have to say that an Article V convention would be the least unconstitutional action I think could be taken because Article V is from the Constitution.” Catch up on last week’s HCR 3 hearing here, and stay tuned to the Convention of States blog for future updates from the Granite State! |
