Coffee and Conversation events are effective
Over the past few weeks, Convention of States supporters throughout California gathered for coffee and conversation.
| Over the past few weeks, Convention of States supporters throughout California gathered for coffee and conversation. First, we met in Corona to bond over coffee and talk about current events and how we can grow the Convention of States movement. We met some new supporters and solidified their support. Several new District Captains learned more about the COS tools. Just doing these fun events regularly would give us total victory. We talked with several new faces, such as Mark and April. The conversation centered around COS, including answering questions about supporters, goals of the organization, mechanics of a convention, and more. It was an enjoyable fellowship of patriots that lasted several hours. One gentleman named Ben shared how he is helping the movement. He and his son Anthony came ready to write more letters to their legislators. They had written letters for Lobby Day and sent letters to the district office, as well. They are continuing to write monthly letters of support. This is a prime example of the California Andy Dufresne Team. Additionally, Ben and Anthony are actively talking to neighbors, family, friends, and people at church about Convention of States. They have gone around to their neighbors. After church, they talk with friends about Convention of States and encourage them to get more information. These are the modern-day Paul Reveres. Most Democrats are sick of the tyranny, too. They just need to hear from us. In Tustin on February 29, we met several supporters eager to write letters and get involved. We also met a new supporter named Helaine. She shared her story, learned about Convention of States, and signed the petition in support. We collected many letters from supporters, as well. The coffee and conversation events have been a great event to engage supporters in California. The enthusiasm is growing in California, and the fight for liberty is on! |
