| CONVENTION OF STATES INFORMATIONAL MEETING Why Article V IS The Solution For far too long our State Legislatures have abdicated their duty and responsibility to keep the federal government in check. It's time to discipline the 200 + year old child in Washington D.C. Find out how we got here and how Article V IS the solution. WHEN: Monday August 7th, 6:30 - 8:00pm WHERE: Park County Library, Grizzly Hall, 1500 Heart Mountain St, Cody. Bring a friend, bring someone who doesn't know about how an Article V Convention for Proposing Amendments can help us restore our Constitution and: * Impose Term Limits * Impose Fiscal Restraint on D.C. * Reduce the Power of the Federal Government For decades we have heard politicians in D.C. say “all we need is the House”, then “all we need is the Senate”, then “all we need is the Presidency”…then we can get D.C. under control. How many more decades must we wait? How much more money must be spent before our State Legislatures take control? Article V gives State Legislatures the power to restrain the out of control federal government, but will they use this power? It's up to us…  |
