Charlie Awakened the American Spirit

The recent events surrounding the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk has stirred something deep within the soul of America. With the political landscape so divided, Charlie’s willingness to discuss the hard issues plaguing society and stimulate youth to freely think about the core values that built the greatest country in the free world was exceedingly admirable.

This level of commitment and ability to not only debate issues but keenly articulate the wisdom behind his beliefs, attracted a following that has spread across the world. Charlie’s death has left a significant void but has also ignited a dynamic movement to reclaim a virtuous way of life where respect for each other and our creator become foremost in our political process.

Extreme ideology of any kind can certainly drive a man to the brink of insanity. Whether far right or far left, these radical perspectives leave no real estate for other possibilities, only a very narrow world view. Our beloved Constitution has become a battleground for the culture war in America.

As Charlie often stated, “America is a country worth saving and celebrating,” as he tirelessly spoke to college students on campuses across the country. He believed that Gen Z will embrace the core values and philosophy of the Founding Fathers and become Gen Free.

History reminds us that difficult times are a divine call to action. Tragedy awakens the soul with a deep echo of the shared human experience. This stirring is most palpable among those who seek righteousness yet this fire has also ignited the spirit of those who have been complacent.

Our country is yearning for a corrective course, a turning point. By engaging in the political landscape, collectively Americans will steer this country back towards the principles of truth, freedom and patriotism.

Charlie Kirk devoted his life to the mission of saving our great nation.

The time is now as our spirit has now been awakened and the battle cry has been proclaimed. The spiritual battle for the soul of our country is evident and we must utilize the weapons of faith to expose the lies and champion truth.

As stated so eloquently in 2 Corinthians 10: 3-5,

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have Divine Power to demolish strongholds (ideologies). We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

The power to create change in America lies within each of us if we are open to being a vessel. Pray for direction from God and join others who are committed to the cause.
