People need to learn about an Article V meeting to propose amendments
 In NJ we love to visit the town and county fairs all summer to share our mission and purpose of Convention of States. People need to learn about an Article V meeting to propose amendments to the Constitution as a legal and viable means to preserve the intent of our founding document so we set ourselves to the task. Most people are attracted to the idea of term limits for federal bureaucrats while others are very concerned for the debt of the United States and its unfunded liabilities. They sense the weight of this debt on our own shoulders and on those of our offspring. Federal overreach often needs a bit more explanation. Is this because it is so insidious? We usually discover something during our discussions with visitors wherein they realize decisions for that area of life fall solely under self-governance. Yet federal constraints loom over us so many life choices are affected. We also take time to explain how Article V causes us to know our NJ Senators and Assembly members because it is they who will pass the resolution for the amendment proposing process to begin. These resolutions are filed with our NJ Legislature. Please add to our appeal to our NJ Legislators by completing the Petition for the proposal of amendments with a full street address and zip code (plus 4) so we email it to your correct NJ Legislative District.
