‘There’s nobody more important and more appropriate to help lead the charge than President Trump.’

The President of the United States has posted an article from Just The News about Convention of States, documenting the organization’s progress across the states and quoting our founder, Mark Meckler. Titled “Convention of States effort surges as Trump aims at shrinking size, scope of federal government,” the piece linked the Article V movement to Donald Trump’s agenda of restoring power to the American people.

As Just the News reported, presidents such as Washington, Lincoln, and Reagan have supported the convention mechanism outlined in Article V of the Constitution, but “no president has thrown his imprimatur behind the effort. Trump could change that. ‘There’s nobody more important and more appropriate to help lead the charge than President Trump,’ Meckler said.”

Trump reposted the article to Truth Social on Monday, sparking a firestorm of interest in the president’s stance on the issue.
