Alabama House passes Convention of States resolution
We have great news from Montgomery!
| We have great news from Montgomery! The Alabama House passed the Convention of States resolution (HJR 112) yesterday with over half the House members co-sponsoring our resolution! This vote comes on the heels of another hugely successful vote, as over two-thirds of the House Rules Committee moved to pass HJR 112 last week. This is all thanks to the fantastic group of volunteers in Alabama – we couldn't have done it without their calls and emails of support. Next our resolution will move to the Alabama Senate, where the Rules Committee is set to discuss it within the next few weeks. Be looking for a specific call to action explaining exactly who to contact and what to say. |
