Active Citizenry
| It was a busy day at the State Capital for the Georgia Team members on February 29, 2024. Leaders from around the state enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Crossover Day. (when bills from senate cross to the House and vice versa). A call to action (on election integrity bill HB974 ) was to contact House members that resulted in the passing of the bill in the House to proceed to the Senate. In a joint effort with Heritage Foundation, This bill requires the Secretary of State to establish and maintain a statewide system for the posting of scanned paper ballots; scanning of absentee ballots and the minimum amount of time scans are maintained and posted. More action is needed and we need your help as an active citizen. Here is a Facebook video with the update by Tony Moore, Grassroots Coordinator. March 6 marks the 10 year anniversary of the passing of our resolution to call for a Convention of States. It was the spark that ignited the newly formed National team and resulted in 19 passed states in this relatively short time! Its time to get active and do one thing a week for our country. Sign the petition and join the team when the time to right for you.
