About last night...

The best laid plans…

“The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry” is a phrase derived from a line written by the poet Robert Burns, and was regrettably applicable to the February 11 **Grassroots Leadership Focus** call.

The call fell victim to a catastrophic hardware and software failure at the outset that prevented the gathering to continue. Technology is great…until it's not.

An exciting evening of news and updates from our regional directors across the country was planned, specifically featuring Wild West Region Director Deanna Becket, who was to have given an important report on the whirlwind of COS activity that has already taken place this year in her region. Also, COSA Senior Advisor Rick Santorum was scheduled to close the meeting with words of wisdom and inspiration.

Despite the technical glitch, we remain undaunted and plan to host next month's call as scheduled on March 11. Information about that meeting will be forthcoming soon.

Everyone associated with Convention of States Action understands, appreciates and values how precious your time is to you, and salutes you for your commitment to the Convention of States movement. We sincerely apologize for last night's abrupt ending.

The experts at Meetn, which hosts the platform for our calls, are working to correct the errors and failures that occurred to ensure that future Grassroots Leadership Focus calls will be smooth sailing.
