Back in the day, citizens called these gatherings “convention” or “assemblies.”  Today we call it a flash mob. \\ \\ It was this practice of self-governance, conventions of delegations were called to establish rules among themselves and to resolve intra-state matters. A flash mob of sorts!  Don’t be too surprised, sometime in the very near future, a really big flash mob assembles at a designated location for the specific purpose of invoking Article V of the U.S. Constitution.
