The first-ever Central Jersey COS meeting was held in July, and the volunteers in that region are excited for the future!

|The first-ever Central Jersey COS meeting was held at the Scotchwood Diner on Thursday, July 25. \\ \\ District Captain Sean Nelson led the presentation, which was witnessed by 20 attendees, including family members, friends, and petition signers. \\ \\ Also assisting Sean at the meeting were his father and Follow-Up Team member Bruce Nelson, Social Media Warrior Eric Strohmeyer, and COS New Jersey State Director Jonathan Viaud.\\ \\ {{https://content.conventionofstates.com/cosaction-prod/public/content/images/16018/16018_original.jpg?520x253}}\\ \\ Mr. Nelson created his own presentation for the meeting, and the attendees were both impressed and curious. Although he believes that getting a level of commitment out of the attendees will take time, Mr. Nelson is excited about more opportunities to meet with supporters in the area.\\ \\ {{https://content.conventionofstates.com/cosaction-prod/public/content/images/16015/16015_original.jpg?550x413}}\\ \\ In an effort to avoid the informal and noisy atmosphere of the diner, Mr. Nelson has found a new venue to host future meetings in a more conducive environment. \\ \\ He has scheduled meetings at the CEO Suites, Inc., located in Scotch Plains, for the third Thursday of each month starting in September. The meetings will start at 6:30pm and will be held in the Seminar Room on the lower level.
